Monkey Business
We met your boyfriend Dylan at Monkey Business; and indoor play gym for little people. You loved it and screamed in delight. You had so much fun on the jumpy things, the slides, the bouncy house, the art room and building block area. You loved the art room and had so much fun painting today. You wore a painting smock and pulled a chair up to the art easel. I think you are ready to start painting here at the house. I think we will go out and buy you some paints. You really like to draw with markers and crayons too.
Sleep Routine.
We usually have dinner around 6 and some night you take a bath or a shower depending on how tired you are. You fall asleep with your lamby, passy after a bottle of organic milk. I rock you sometimes form 10-30 minutes nightly. We have been using a rain machine/ white noise machine to block out the noise in the house. you are a very lite sleeper.
You still wake up some where between midnight and morning. You crawl up next to me and sleep between daddy and I. You curl my hair around your finger and spoon my back. I love it but sometimes you pull my hair really hard or kick me. We have been working on gentle touches. I am hoping it clicks soon!

Hand and Foot Virus
Besides having the obvious runny nose one can never tell if you are sick. You rarely act sick but last week you woke up with a 103 fever and we took you to see your doctor. He also said you had Hand and Foot Disease/Virus. A rash broke out on your feet and hands. Your skin pealed on both and you were okay with it. You knew you had some boo boo's on your feet.
First RAYS Baseball Game
We went to the last home game at the Rays stadium. We invited GG and Pop Pop too. Uncle Tiaga came too. We sang all your favorite songs on the way to the game. It was raining out so i begged the parking lot attendant for a free pass and he gave us first row parking. We were all very happy because it was wet outside. We got tickets up in section 310. You had so much fun singing and watching the Rays win. We went down to the Sting ray tank and watched them swim around. We had chicken, steak and french fries at the game. You loved the 7th inning stretch song as well as the cheers. The Rays won and everyone was really happy. You were very bust watching people and playing with your toys. You made it threw the whole game. It was so much fun! A 2 day Birthday event!
Daddy's Birthday Party
We surprised daddy and threw a party for his special day at our house. We told him Grammie and Pop pop were just coming over but actually about 15 of our closest friends came by and watched the game with us. We bought him special football balloons and two new outfits. You wore a new red jersey, with a red bow in your hair and a fluffy red skirt. We made chicken lasagna, salad, and roasted vege's. Laura brought daddy a football cake. Uncle Ryuji gave daddy new golf shoes and Tiage gave him new gym shoes! Uncle Bruce and Booby came too. As well as Auntie Sally and the Alferie's! We had fun watching the game but they lost. Daddy was really surprised! You loved eating your 2nd chocolate cupcake! You also formed a Little crush on Cade. He is 15 though! You had fun playing with Kirsten too. She will be your baby sitter hopefully.

Your social calendar
We go to music class at 9am on Tuesdays and We are still going to Gymboree every Wednesday morning. Just recently you moved up in the 22 months class. They teach you about using your imagination. You still love to go. Thursdays are swim team practice and we are free most nights. We do all sorts of errands and we love to visit our friends in the neighborhood or around town. You love going to watch Sophia play volleyball at Berkeley Prep. You love to say "Bam!" You really like going to the gym inside my gym. We call it Mama's Gym and Baby Ella's gym! You really like your teacher there. We bought her a gift certificate and always treat her very nice. She really likes you. We usually see Grammie and Pop pop on the weekends at the beach house. Sometimes I drop you off at their Bayshore condo and they watch you. They love having you over. Daddy and I have been going on a few dates lately. It is nice to go out with him at night when you are safe with Grammie. We really have a good time. I hope you will find a wonderful husband one day that loves you just as much as we love each other. I married your daddy because he is my best friend and means the world to me.

Toys @ 22 months...
You are loving all your new bikes and strollers.
You still like a ride in the red wagon around the hood and we always enjoy a great bike ride together. We sing every song we know when we ride around the hood. I want to find a cool basket for our bike so we can bike up to the farmers market together. Some night we run on the golf course kicking balls around. Most nights you are in the pool swimming with daddy. You love to play on the Orca Whale, sail around in your boat and throw all your toys in the pool.

You love your new plastic golf clubs and baseball bat. You still play with your pink Lego's and love to draw on your chalk board. You are really into your farm, zoo, and ABC puzzles. You are pretty close to solving the shape puzzle by yourself now. You still love to roll around in your little circus tent and hide from us in it. But your favorite toy is our iPhone and the ipad. I wonder when you are older what they will have invented for your children. You will probably laugh at the "Old" toys we have today for you! I built you a little sand box outside and you love to throw the sand around it and outside if it. Our neighbor gave us a cool outdoor gym and a sea saw for the back yard.

Lana's Baby Shower
Auntie Lana is having a baby right around your birthday. So we made some very special invitations for her and sent them out to all her 55 friends. It will be October 19th at Grammie Kathie's house in Chicago. We are flying into town on my dad's 18th anniversary since he passed away. I am looking forward to being with my brother and sisters and grammie on that day. He would of loved you so much. He was a wonderful dad to me. Always very loving, affectionate and always very supportive. When you walk in to my office I usually ask you "Where is Pop pop Maurice?' and you point at his picture on the wall. You also point to your Great Grammie Jean, Whom you were named after.
New Hair cut
We went to Sweet and Sassy Hair Salon for little girls and got a new haircut. They sat you in the big girls chair and trimmed away. You were very hesitant and watched the lady very carefully in the mirror. Daddy and I took a 1000 pictures and made sure we saved a little baggy for you. Your hair probably didn't need a trim but there was a few little whispies that were out of control! I thought about piercing your ears yesterday but thought you might like to pick out your own earrings one day and we can do it together when you want too! I was not allowed to pierce my ears. I had my ears done when I was 18!
